Rough ride

In this episode we go on a hellacious journey with my friend Denver, if you think the story is just about his disability, you are dead wrong. Denver is a man who is a walking TV show, like breaking bad, and Sons of Anarchy, he's lived a crazy life. In his story you were here about being in a motorcycle club, in prison, battling addiction, and much more. He's also blind, can advocate for people with disabilities. He also has his own radio show that I was a guest on.

No lashes

In this episode, I get to talk to an old friend and reminisce about our condition. Julie is a person who went through Stevens-Johnson syndrome and was a scared little girl when I met her and now has turned into a woman who raises her own little girl and deals with the challenges that come with that, while also being an advocate for our traumatic condition.

Extra sensitive

In this episode I get to talk to my friend Nattelie, she suffers from a condition called complex regional pain syndrome, it's a condition that impacts her body in many ways, but she is the ultimate survivor. She is always battling pain, discomfort, and oh yeah she's also the mother of a disabled child. She's a beautiful person, I am happy to know her, and her interview really touched me.

Simple but beautiful

In this episode, I interview Robyn who is an aid for children with special needs. She talks about what it's like to interact with them on a daily basis, what they're actually like, and how amazing they really are. She also talks about having a husband with a Traumatic brain injury, and a son who wants to have a learning disability, and how all that helped her to prepare her for the job she has today.

Searching for an address

In this episode, I get to delve into a topic that I've always been curious about, and a group of people that I feel are misunderstood, and miss treated.  My guest wants to remain nameless, but she tells her story of what it's like to be homeless, disabled, and battle mental health, and abuse by multiple people. She's a brave person, and she shows you how easy it is to get caught up in life, and how a few circumstances can change your whole outcome. So please sit and listen to her tragic story, but also appreciate the things that you have in this life that a lot of others don't.  Hopefully you also learn to never give up as she will not.

Working while disabled

In this episode I do something different, instead of interviewing my friend Raven we just have a nice long discussion about our journeys in the workplace, inclusion in the workplace when it comes to people with disabilities, and how far we have come by getting our own places.

You need hope

In this episode, I get to talk to another new friend named Morgan. Morgan is a woman who fights every day, with the realization of constantly looking over her shoulder for what's next. She's had cancer seven times and lost multiple parts of her body due to the C-word that plagues the world. Morgan is not only brave but a perfect example of no matter what life throws at you, you can still make it.

The human rainbow

In this episode I sit down and talk to a very inspiring man named Phil, Phil is from derby England, and he is a perfect example of how a certain mistake can change your life. though he made a mistake, what he has done since that mistake is what's really remarkable. Phil is not a guy that you can do fine with just a few words, he has a guy that we should all look to when we're going through our problems and we forget to appreciate everything we have.
